How TroppoDoc is funded

TroppoDoc  receives small  donations from individual sponsors and gifts of medical supplies, and donated glasses ...these are generally collected in New Zealand and Australia or from other countries and transported as part of Volunteer's personal baggage allowance to the areas of need.

To keep TroppoDoc's  vision alive Dr Derek Allen funds his own travel when providing free medical care and medicines to those in need.   Dr Allen also funds his own travel when he travels around New Zealand to raise awareness among Rotary Clubs, Schools, Churches and others in the Community, who have a concern for those in need who have not had the opportunities we take for granted.

Words from one Sponsor:   "It is incredibly rewarding to sponsor a patient with TroppoDoc.  Dr Derek keeps you informed by txt message - he discusses the patient's condition - he discusses options and costs available for their treatment.  Our family feel included and part of the Team; and all the funds we donated were spent on the patient and her family".

TroppoDoc would be delighted to discuss an arrangement with a Sponsor who wishes to see their sponsorship or charitable donation going where their dollar is giving maximum  assistance to those who are in need.
