Saturday 13th August - A 5am rise and Lloyd drives us to the Airport. Thanks very much to Lloyd and Lydia for their wonderful hospitality and having us to stay. It has been an excellent and successful trip back to Vanuatu. Fly at 7am from Port Vila to Auckland - met by Tony at the airport and the road trip to Northland begins to visit my Stepmum Iris.

 

Sunday 14th August - Drive to Whangarei as the road trip continues to visit Mag, back to Orewa to meet Mavis and then to Dairy Flat to meet John and Joy. Public relations is always very important to me and it is so good to meet with long time good friends. Fly to Gisborne that night to sort out donated medicines stored in Gisborne. Thank you to the Eastland Eye Care Centre for their continuing valued support by Mike and Staff.

 

Monday 15th August - Busy morning for Margaret and me collecting medicines and sorting out TroppoDoc business. I fly to Wellington - second time in three weeks. The first time I was back from Indonesia, it was the coldest day on record for Wellington. This time it was snow and hail to ground level. Quite some change from Vanuatu. Non the less good to meet Melioni and Tessa.
